The One Where We Make a Ring-Bearer Thing…
Sometimes, after a rough day, all I can think of is meeting up with friends and unwinding over a glass of wine, maybe some pizza (probably both). Well, I had a bad day last week and, instead of craving a glass of red, I had the craziest urge to make something. Instantly I thought to myself, “Cuz needs a ring-bearer pillow. I can tackle that. And if she likes it―great! And if she doesn’t, at least I tried.”

In fact, of all the great comedy routines ever done on TNT over the years, my favorite has always been Kenny Smith manning the velvet rope outside the “Champions Club” and laughingly taunting the well-known partier Sir Charles about his lack of credentials to get inside the door. Occasionally, Smith would push open the door to let the sounds of dance music come and poke his head inside. “Hey, Charles!” he would call out. “Look, it’s Mark Madsen! And Zan Tabak! Oh, Charles, look! It’s Jack Haley! Can you believe it? Jack Haley!” It was a fantastic skit and all Barkley could do was shake his head and laugh, because, of course, after 16 often-mind-blowing seasons, he left the NBA ringless.

Wedding Rings
Wedding rings are one of those things that have very little to do with the wedding, but a lot to do with the marriage. These are the rings that will symbolize our vows to each other�we’ll have them forever. J and I haven’t been obsessing over finding the perfect rings, but we have visited countless jewelry shops in search of the perfect ring. Well, actually J was easy�he just wants a simple white gold 5mm band. Done. (Boys have it so easy sometimes!)
